Furniture Purchasing Policy
1. Final Sale
All furniture items are final sale once ordered. Due to the custom and made-to-order nature of furniture, no returns, exchanges, or cancellations are permitted after an order has been placed.
2. Pricing
• All pricing is subject to change without notice until payment is received
• Prices do not include delivery, freight, white-glove service, installation, or taxes unless otherwise stated
• Promotional pricing is time-sensitive and not guaranteed once expired
3. Payment Terms
• Full payment is required before any furniture order is placed
• Orders will not be submitted to the vendor until payment clears
• Partial payments or deposits do not secure inventory
4. Lead Times
• Estimated lead times are provided by vendors and are not guaranteed
• Delays may occur due to manufacturing, freight, port delays, or weather
• Kouture Luxury Decor is not responsible for vendor or carrier delays
5. Dimensions & Fit
• Client is responsible for confirming all measurements, clearances, doorways, elevators, and access points
• Kouture Luxury Decor is not responsible for items that do not fit due to incorrect measurements or site conditions
6. Color, Finish & Material Variations
• Fabric, wood, stone, and finish variations are natural and expected
• Actual colors may vary slightly from digital images or samples
• Variations do not constitute defects
7. Delivery & Damage
• Furniture should be inspected immediately upon delivery
• Any visible damage must be noted with the carrier at the time of delivery
• Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
• Kouture Luxury Decor is not responsible for damage caused after delivery or installation
8. Assembly & Installation
• Most furniture arrives fully assembled unless noted otherwise
• Installation services are not included unless specifically contracted
• Leg installation or minor assembly may be required on select items
9. Storage
• Kouture Luxury Decor does not provide storage unless contracted separately
• Storage fees may apply if delivery is delayed due to client readiness
10. Acceptance
By approving furniture selections and submitting payment, the client acknowledges and accepts all terms outlined in this policy.

How Long Does Furniture Take to Ship?
In-Stock Furniture
Estimated: 2–4 weeks
• Items are already manufactured
• Time includes processing, freight pickup, and delivery scheduling
Made-to-Order / Performance Fabric Furniture
Estimated: 6–12 weeks
• Most sofas, sectionals, and accent chairs fall into this category
• Time includes production + freight transit
Custom or Specialty Pieces
Estimated: 12–20+ weeks
• Custom finishes, special fabrics, or overseas production
• Extended timelines due to manufacturing and port logistics
Modular Sectionals
Estimated: 8–14 weeks
• Multiple pieces produced and shipped together
• Timing depends on the slowest component in the order
Delivery Factors That May Affect Timing
• Vendor production schedules
• Freight carrier availability
• Port congestion or weather delays
• Holidays and peak seasons
• White-glove or special delivery services
Important Notes for Clients
• Shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees
• Orders are not placed until full payment is received
• Delays outside of designer control do not qualify for refunds or cancellations

For project planning purposes, we always recommend ordering furniture as early as possible to avoid delays.
